Hug and Kiss Meet
is History!!
Quick, think of five things that France is famous for ...... Perfume ..... Jewelry ..... Champagne ..... ugh .... Gymnastics Equipment????? (If any of you said gym equipment as your first item....you are either very astute or you don't get out much do you?)
After this weekend however, everyone who came to the Hershey Hug and Kiss Meet were impressed not only with the beauty and fantastic quality of the Gymnova equipment, but also the outstanding quality of the operation of the meet itself. Operating with the proficiency of a Swiss watch; from the preparation and production of the excellent Meet Program with (pardon my attempt at self aggrandizement) great picture quality, setting up of equipment and mats; gourmet meals for judges; superb snacks for coaches; and a great assortment of sandwiches, salads, soups and pastries at the snack bar.
The floor staff also did a GREAT job - from the first hand stamp and "Star Spangled Banner", continuing with all the shout out's, medal and trophy presentations, instantaneous-correct-scorekeeping; and we will never forget the studio quality sound system!!!
It's over now...sniff....goodbye to a great meet!! Thanks to all who put it together. We do it for the love of our daughters, for the love of their sport....for gymnastics. Keeping that in mind......see you around next year guys....16th Annual...... Til then, get some rest.
