September Gymnast of the Month
Cami
Our September Gymnast of the Month is Cami – a level 4 who is eagerly looking forward to competing this year. The youngest of three at 9, Cami has two older brothers – 14 and 17. She delights in showing them gymnastics moves that they can’t hope to duplicate. That could be tied to her being a Leo – born August 21st. She was born in “the bootheel state" – Missouri.
She also has two “critter” friends – Fenway, her dog and Pebbles, her turtle. She is in the 4th grade where Science is her favorite subject. Although she agrees it’s early to make hard plans, she would love to be a top class gymnast and ultimately train others in her footsteps.
Although she is good at beam, bars and vault, her favorite is floor and it’s easy to see why. Her handsprings, round offs and splits are smoothly and effortlessly performed. It’s a sure bet that she will do well this coming year of meets. Everyone congratulate Cami and wish her all the best!!
